programs now available and more being developed.

Classes 2007
More info:
Computers classes for 2007 are being finalized and the course
outlines will be available at the Hallett Cove Baptist Church
Computer Centre in the next 2 weeks
Beginners classes will be starting the first week of Febrary,
starting on Monday 5th.
Intermediate classes and "One Subject" classes will also be
starting Monday 5th Febrary.
Classes are of a small size - maximum 8, with a limited number
of courses each week, so get your name in early to guarantee a seat :)
The computer center is air-conditioned and has wheelchair
access
to all the facilities.

Computers
are now everywhere in our daily lives, from simple computers in
microwave ovens, watchs, dvd players, cars to very sophisticated
computes which run financial institutions and movie production units.

A
computer is a machine that reads information or data to a
defined set of instructions. The computer can be used to type
documents,
send email, surf the Internet, listen to music, watch movies, talk to
friends using VOIP, make calendars, play games plus many thousands of
other
interesting pursuits.
With wireless technology, the computer is now are becoming the hub of
the
families entertainment center with the ability to run multiple tasks
at the same time in any room of the home.
Today's computer is also a multimedia centre, with CD/DVD/MP3
capability for viewing videos, listening to music, chatting with
friends, as well as displaying your family photo's and editing
them. The computer has turned
itself into a versitile component of our everyday lives.
