FAT32 to NTFS:

Not sure what file system you have running ?

Click on the "Start" button, then open "My Computer".
Go to your C: drive or "Local Disk (C:)" and right-click on it.
The new info box will tell you next to the  "File System" (under the "General Tab").

One of the things I enjoy most is getting inside an operating system and getting it to perform the way I want it to.

Quite often, many of these hacks will only suit individuals that need the OS to operate in this way.  But knowing that you can do this and then undo the changes gives you more contol over your computer.
